Our insulated spandrel panels are pre-finished with either a glass or aluminium face bonded to the insulant with a specially developed adhesive, enabling them to achieve a high level of fire performance that has been independently certified to A2-s1, d0.
Compatible with most curtain walling systems, and suitable for both new build and refurb projects, the Speedpanel range is readily available in standard sizes and colours. The products can also be manufactured with bespoke facings, with non-standard design and testing available on a project-by-project basis.
Designed to be simply glazed-in to curtain walling systems, Speedpanel A2® Glass not only achieves a whole panel fire classification of A2-s1,d0 in accordance with EN 13501-1:2018, it is also in accordance with the TN 75 Hard Body Impact Test. As well as this proven safety performance, the product has up to a 40 year life expectancy when fitted in a drained and ventilated curtain walling system that has been correctly specified, tested and installed. Easy to install, aluminium spandrel panels have the added advantage of a wide range of colours available to help bring projects to life. Speedpanel A2® Aluminium also provides high levels of fire and thermal performance, achieving a whole panel fire classification of A2-s1,d0 in accordance with EN 13501-1:2018, and typical U-values of between 0.26-0.38 W/m2k.
